To protect the privacy and confidentiality of property owners and residents, residential applications and plans will not be made available for public viewing on the Borough’s website.

Residential plans may contain detailed information regarding the interior layout of a home, including the location of bedrooms, bathrooms, entrances, and other rooms or areas within the residence. Making these documents publicly accessible online could unnecessarily disclose information about the private use and layout of a residence.

In addition, once plans and application documents are posted online, copies may be downloaded, saved, or otherwise retained by third parties. Removing a document from the Borough’s website does not necessarily remove copies that may have already been downloaded or indexed elsewhere on the Internet.

For these reasons, the Borough will not post residential applications or detailed residential plans on its website. Documents will be maintained in accordance with applicable public-records requirements and will be made available during normal business hours at the Phoenix House, 2 West Main St.
